In line at the postal kiosk inside the drugstore today, Angelie made friends.
Two little girls, about three or four years of age, came into line behind us with their day-care provider. They were fascinated by "the cute little baby," and their care provider tried to discourage them from touching her. She suggested they tell Angelie a story. The girls opted to sing the Alphabet song, loudly. Their squeaky little voices, singing "L L L O P," warrented smiles from the store customers milling around nearby, and laughter from the postal workers behind the counter. You don't get that kind of entertainment in a business office.
