Spent the weekend away - Angelie's first trip away from home. On Thursday we drove to my Dad's and she slept the whole drive in the car. No surprise, it's a short trip and she's always tolerated the car well. Then on Friday we drove up to my sister's in North Bay for the weekend. My nephew is convinced that Angelie is trying to say his name... she does make the "A" sound very well, which is what his name begins with. Angelie really likes him, and she smiles at him when he holds her. He's very gentle. My niece is rougher, not as strong or able to sit still as long.

Angelie slept as well or better away as she does at home. We tried to stick to her schedule for the most part, and that helped, plus we spent a lot of time outdoors, and the fresh air probably had something to do with it too.

Ed's parents and Nana stopped in at our house this evening, on their way back into town from a day away, but we weren't home yet. They go through withdrawals when they don't see the baby for a few days. We just missed them too, because we stopped at their place on our way back into town to use the washroom.
