It's December 1st! Ed and I spent the past few days making a new Advent calendar for the girls. Originally it started as a backup plan for a missing quilted Advent Calendar Grandma filled last year. (I got the idea from a friend who made a similar one for her kids last year,) but I think it's turned into an heirloom piece! A cutout that was supposed to be quick and simple too Ed several hours. I hope my paint job (Ed did the base coats) lived up to the standard he set. It's taller than Sarah!

Angelie opened the first advent gift today. This year it's just for Angelie, but next year we'll include Sarah too.
