Fall! Back to scheduled routine!
We're mostly settled in and adjusted back to structured days. Sarah had a very rough time when Angelie started back to school all day. She cried all the way home after we dropped Angelie off at school, raced to the door expecting to see Angelie there every time we heard a noise outside, and was very excited to see Angelie when we went to pick her up after school was over. Then, just to break her heart again, Angelie got dropped off at the last dance class for her summer session! Sarah had a screaming, throw herself on the floor temper tantrum. Yes, we are two!
We've since adjusted, though she still runs to hug Angelie after school. And she loves our little routine of playing in the school yard after school.
Angelie has continued on with a second session of dance. She's taking Irish Step-Dancing, and so far loves it. I love that she likes it, but I almost hope that she outgrows it, as it's very expensive if she ever gets to competition level!
Angelie worked all summer (behaviour stickers on a chart) to earn a baseball glove and baseball bat. We seem to have passed through the pinching/hitting/kicking stage that she picked up early last school year. Phew! (One down, one to go?)

Angelie joined Beavers this fall. She wanted to join Sparks (Girl Guides) but because she goes to an all girls school, we wanted her to have some contact with boys. She goes to a Colony in the school across from our house, so will hopefully meet kids in our neighbourhood too.
Angelie in uniform before her first meeting:

Sarah had her birthday! We have a full-fledged two-year old on our hands... and she's very good at it! We had a little family dinner on her birthday, but plan to have a few of her little friends over once the reno is at an acceptable stopping point.
Angelie and Sarah's birthday cupcakes:

Sarah eats her birthday cupcake:

She's been showing interest in potty training, but we've still got a long long way to go. She will still lie and tell me she hasn't got a dirty diaper, and then at bedtime call me to her room -- "Mommy I popped. Mommy change diaper." -- just for attention.
Apparently, she's a little bashful about the whole thing:
