Angelie knows where her hair, mouth, ears, toes, and tummy are. (We're working on nose, but she keeps grabbing her ears then too.)

UPDATE May 28th: She's found her nose.

Angelie can say (but mommy still has to translate for strangers): dada, mama, vroom, moo (sounds like vwo), grr (for bear, sounds like cuh), woof woof (sounds like wow wow), meow meow (also sounds like wow wow), hat (ha), bath & ball & bus & bike (all sound like bah so it's a context thing), out (ow), done (duh), and park (Ba, with the emphasis on the B sound)

She can sign (in either baby sign or one we made up ourselves): dog, bird, noisy, fish, sleep, flower, baby, bunny, windy, hat, more & all done (which look very similar), bath, up and no.

And then there is the unspoken/ungestured communication where she just take you to a place and indicates what she wants. She will walk to the garage door and you know she wants her stroller to go for a walk, she'll go to her high chair when she's hungry, she'll fetch her hat or shoes when she wants to go out (or she'll stand at the babygate and say hat, hat, hat, hat).

What an amazing little person she's growing into.
