Daddy decided that it was a good day to spoil Angelie. And truthfully today she deserved it. After Ed got home early from work, we took the baby shopping. Ed needed new shoes and pants (two stops). She was so good. So we went to Toys R Us.

Angelie LOVES Elmo right now, and Daddy wanted to buy her a stuffed Elmo doll. Unfortunately the only ones Toys R Us had were electronic gizmos that cost a fortune. Not what we were looking for. But Angelie had a ball playing with the toys right there in the store. She pulled baby-dolls off shelves, cooked a meal on a little plastic stove, and pushed a baby-walker around an aisle or two. She tested out the toddler-sized beds and chairs. What she really enjoyed though was the train-sets. There were other kids playing with the train demo track and Angelie was delighted to be right there in the midst of it all.

We left Toys R Us empty handed, but then we header for Chapters and Angelie twisted her Daddy's arm and talked him into buying her 5 books and a wooden puzzle. (Like I said, Daddy was in the mood to spoil her.) On the way home, with a very tired little girl in the back-seat, we stopped at a sports store and Daddy bought a tiny little Angelie-sized soccer ball.

Angelie loves kicking a ball around these days. She's going to be a soccer star.
