Welcome to February!

We've had a fairly mild winter to this point, so we really can't complain. The girls enjoy playing outside and we get lots of outdoor play when we drive Angelie to school and again when we pick her up. Sarah has quite the little fan club at Angelie's school, and the girls follow her around the school yard. Angelie calls it the "Sarah Parade".

Angelie had a "Crazy Day" at school in January and was allowed to wear crazy clothes and crazy hair. It's a nice break from the uniform.

Here's her crazy face to go with it:

Angelie's doing well at school, academically. She's been having issues with behaviour though. She's been pinching her classmates when she's angry! It's something that she started doing to me when she was angry at home, and it only started after she began school. The teacher has confirmed that she picked it up from another child. Now there are 3 in the class who are doing it. Quite normal for her age, but regardless we're doing what we can to stop it: loss of privileges, rewards when she doesn't. Hopefully it will stop soon.

This past weekend we celebrated the Canadian Winter and went down to Winterlude. They have great family activities set up at one of the parks on the Quebec side: tubing, ice slides, dog sled rides, ice and snow sculptures, a snow maze....
