Took a drive out to visit a friend in the countryside near Carleton Place today. Nice visit and Angelie mostly behaved herself. It's hard to keep a toddler still. We visited the horses out back and Angelie got to pet their noses and rub their sides. My friend gave Angelie an apple to feed the horse, but Angelie took a bite out of it instead. Eventually she did let me give it to the horse. She wanted so badly to ride them. She'd pat the horses' backs (I was holding her up of course to keep her from crawling between their legs) and say "Pea" (please) over and over.

Inside the house, she found the piano. She sat happily playing for a few minutes which gave me time to chat (holler back and forth) with my friend.

Looks like we'd better save up for both riding lessons and music lessons.
